I am deeply saddened how the church dissects personalities a week at a time. If you’re a faithful member the cuts are strengthened with bad data, bread, water, and blinders. And if you’re a bit weak, then you can get back on track in only seven days. This is a subtle way the REAL patriarchal grip is applied. Once you’re comfortable then it’s easy to drizzle tiny doses of bigotry and righteous judgment on everyone. It’s a festering boil that never pops.
