LDS faithful immediately know you’re mentioning Joseph Smith when you speak the two words “The Prophet.” Yet, we’re hard-pressed to find a singular fulfilled prediction by this charlatan.

This unfulfilled prophecy of Joseph Smith is 200 years old…

KIRTLAND WILL BE BUILT UP: 19 January 1841. “If he will do my will let him not take his family unto the eastern lands, even unto Kirtland; nevertheless, I, the Lord, will build up Kirtland, but I, the Lord, have a scourge prepared for the [non-Mormon] inhabitants thereof” (D&C 124:83).

The Mormons never returned to Kirtland, except in very few numbers.

The inhabitants never suffered any “scourge.”

The Reorganized Church [Community of Christ] holds title to the temple there.
