FAILED PROPHECIES: The Prophet-less JS …

LDS faithful immediately know you’re mentioning Joseph Smith when you speak the two words “The Prophet.” Yet, we’re hard-pressed to find a singular fulfilled prediction by this charlatan.

This unfulfilled prophecy of Joseph Smith is 200 years old:

SAINTS GATHERED IN ONE PLACE: God has decreed that the elect “shall be gathered in unto one place … against the day when tribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked” (D&C 29:8/September 1830).

The “one place” continued to change as the Mormons were driven from one temporary refuge to the next. After arriving in Utah, the Mormons viewed that as the gathering place.

But the modern church apparently no longer believes in this gathering, since it encourages new converts to remain in their homelands. Additionally, tribulation and desolation have not been sent forth upon the wicked.
