“The more liberal I became, the more I saw huge incongruities in Mormon doctrine and policies concerning race, politics, sexuality, and gender. At the same time, I saw huge incongruities in Mormon faith claims and the verifiable historical realities of what actually happened in the foundation of Joseph’s movement (stone in the hat sort of stuff). As I became increasingly fed up with Mormonism’s social world view, I was, at the same time, seeing more clearly the reality hidden behind the veil of the LDS narrative; DNA, lack of archaeological evidences, and the like. Mormonism was morally and ethically bankrupt regarding the social issues of justice and human rights, as well as totally unsustainable as to the historicity of its most fundamental faith claims.”
