Although George Orwell’s 1948 masterpiece, Nineteen Eighty-Four has nothing to do with Mormonism directly, it speaks with uncanny clarity to the mind of every person who can extrapolate the absurdity of the setting, while understanding it is very close to the truth.

I maintain that after reading this book, active members of the church -with this faculty of consciousness- will have reason to pause. As such, it should be seen as a wonderful gift option for your TBM loved one, provided you’re not already seen as being passive-aggressive by the recipient.
