“Hannah Ells Smith, a wife of the Prophet [Joseph Smith], boarded at his [John Benbow’s] house two months during the summer of the same year [1843]; and the said Hannah E. Smith also lived at his [Benbow’s] house several months in 1844, after the Prophet’s death. And further, that President Smith frequently visited his wife Hannah at his (J.B.’s) house.”
