“[T]he Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth…”
Joseph Smith, History of the Church – Volume 4 (Salt Lake City, UT: Deseret Book Company, 1976 Brown Leather Edition – delivered 28 November 1841), 461.
The 1840 edition cover page includes the words “CAREFULLY REVISED BY THE TRANSLATOR.”
This begs the question: How many changes need to be made to the ‘most correct’ book ever written; one which claims to be the direct word of God?
Apparently it required a lot of adjusting; nearly 4,000 changes to date.
Additionally, there are several errors which have never been corrected from the original manuscripts.
