Both the Book of Mormon and the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible (also known as the Inspired Version) reference the necessity of baptism before the time of John the Baptist, with the latter even asserting that Adam was baptized.

This anachronistic concept is not mentioned in the Old Testament.
