During his revision of the New Testament, Joseph Smith, Jr. adds a grammatically clumsy ending to a verse in Matthew…
The original reads:
“Are not two sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father”
Matthew 10:29 (AKJV).
The current revision in the Community of Christ’s Bible adds two words at the end of the verse, and reads:
“Are not two sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father knoweth it.”
Matthew 10:26, Holy Scriptures/Inspired Version (Independence, MO: The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints/Herald Publishing, March 1966 – twelfth printing), 1098, emphasis added.
How has this epic failure never been corrected?
