LDS faithful immediately know you’re mentioning Joseph Smith when you speak the two words “The Prophet.” Yet, we’re hard-pressed to find a singular fulfilled prediction by this charlatan.

This unfulfilled prophecy of Joseph Smith is 200 years old…

JOSEPH SMITH IN PALESTINE: 20 January 1843. “Elder Hyde told of the excellent white wine he drank in the east [Palestine]. Joseph prophesied in the name of the Lord that he would drink wine with him in that country” (History of the Church 5:242 – Vogel Edition).

Joseph Smith never went to Palestine, and drinking wine would have been contrary to the Word of Wisdom –D&C 89- A revelation Joseph Smith, Jr. dictated ten years earlier.
